Does anyone in your house get excited for Game day? My husband’s family loves football, so we frequently watch games with them on the weekend when we’re all gathered together for family time! My kids even enjoy getting into the games, even though they are not quite sure what’s going on in them yet.
This week I made some Pizza & Dips, which would be perfect for any football party! I love how fast and easy it can be, and the dip adds just a bit of personalization, as each person can try their own unique flavors!
Right now, Walmart has DiGiorno pizzas on rollback pricing! That means they are on sale for cheap! I picked up a couple of them, because you really can’t beat the price right now! With the money I saved on the pizzas, I was able to buy some goodies to make dips too!
I did marinara dipping sauce, ranch dressing and homemade garlic butter! Some more ideas would be; cheese dip, bleu cheese dressing or a jalapeno ranch sauce!
I baked the pizzas according to the directions on the box, and then cut them into small strips and mini triangles, for easier dipping! The pizzas and dip were a huge hit at our house!!!
Here’s how I made the garlic butter:
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 stick butter
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium/low heat. While the butter is melting mince the garlic into tiny bits. Add the garlic bits to the butter and let cook for two minutes. Add the remaining 3 Tablespoons of butter and melt. Then pour it all into a small dish and serve! I like my garlic butter to have bits of garlic still in it, but you could also strain those out. It’s super easy and delicious!
What is your favorite game day snack? Have you ever made your own garlic butter or dips?

No matter how good I want to be, Doritos and DiGiorno make me bad. And these dip ideas will make me…badder. I’m more of a marinara gal but I am totally up for trying the garlic butter. :)

My kids always ask for garlic butter when we order pizza but I’ve never thought to make it at home! Great idea! #client

I’ve always leaned towards the traditional snacks for game day, but this post has inspired me to mix things up a bit! Making homemade garlic butter sounds like such a simple yet delicious way to add a personal touch to pizza night. I’m definitely putting this on my list to try next game day. The idea of pairing it with different dips is a game-changer. I can already imagine the mini pizza triangles being a hit with both the adults and kids at my next gathering. Thank you for sharing these fantastic ideas; I’m looking forward to experimenting with my dips and adding that homemade garlic butter to our game day tradition!
