Happy National Coffee day! – This post brought to you by Eight O’Clock coffee. All opinions and love for coffee are my own.
I can’t say it surprises me to find out that there is a national coffee day. It seems like coffee keeps most of us running and functioning through our days so I suppose it is appropriate that coffee gets a day all to itself in September.
I know I’ll be grabbing some coffee with a friend today (I mean, that’s basically a requirement, right?) and I’ll be thinking about how I’d love to get coffee with all of you.
I went to Blog Elevated this weekend, and it was neat to meet so many of the long-time readers of this blog and fellow bloggers! I would still love to meet some of you who don’t blog but actively read and interact here! Even if it’s just via an image…let’s have a virtual coffee together today okay? I know I certainly need it to get through the monday after being away all weekend!
If we were chatting, I’m sure at some point favorite TV shows would come up. Even though I was only four years old when the show first aired, I still know the impact that Friends had on the world. It’s still so well known, even though that first air date was twenty years ago!
I thought it was pretty neat that Eight O’Clock coffee did a DELICIOUS special limited edition Central Perk roast to celebrate Friends hitting that 20 year mark! In Manhattan they even made a pop-up replica of the Central Perk coffee shop that all the Friends characters used to visit!
I know I would LOVE to visit pop ups from my favorite shows. Since most of my faves are set in London that’s not likely to happen any time soon, but I thought this was perfect for the many Friends fans that I know.
YOU can also visit Eight O’Clock Coffee’s Facebook page to get in on the fun yourself, you could win coffee prizes or a chance to visit LA and the Warner Brothers Studios! You can also find them on Twitter!
How are you celebrating National Coffee Day? If we were having coffee together today, you’d find out that I take a little coffee with my cream and a whole lot of sugar on top of that.
You’d find out that I’m obsessed with having painted on gray fingernails and that my kids are wild and crazy.
You’d also find out that I unapologetically laugh way too loud and way too often. You’d also know that I love stories and I would really love to hear yours!
Since we’re having coffee together today, leave a comment and let me know one unique thing about you, what makes you…YOU! AND if you are Friends fan, tell me your favorite episode!

I am a huge fan of coffee, and unfortunately, I probably drink way too much of it. I simply like the taste more than I need the pick me up. Funny enough, my husband and I love eight o’clock coffee and we buy it all the time. I take mine straight up black. Are you a black coffee girl like me, Paula?
Paula says
So cool! :) I definitely don’t do it black. My sister does but I take mine with TONS of cream and sugar ;)

I am a HUGE coffee fan!!
I celebrated by sending my sister a Starbucks Gift Card (she’s on a year long mission, and so I know it will be much appreciated!) I also visited my favorite local coffee shop for lunch where I drank a little too much coffee!!
(And I’m in the same boat – most of my favorites are set in London, so visiting isn’t exactly possible!)

That is so sweet of you to send her that! Those gifts are extra special! :)
