This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
My son was born in early November, which is barely enough separation from the holidays to make him feel like he still gets a big, regular birthday. Had he been born a week or two later, it would be all too easy to let his birthday get lost in the holiday busy season. I have friends who were born all through the holiday season, including Christmas day!
Talk about a hard birthday to make special…
Not just because it’s crowded around a lot of other events, but the time of year is so busy, sometimes there’s simply not time to plan a full birthday party at home, complete with food, drinks and of course, cake.
Which is totally where Chuck E. Cheese’s comes in. As a kid, I loved everything about Chuck E. Cheese’s and it’s no different for my kids now. From the moment we walk in, their eyes get big and the excitement doesn’t stop! From the rides to the games and even the climbing areas they have a lot of fun…and honestly we do too!
They host birthday parties, which makes it a great choice for parties by the holidays (or any time of year!). You don’t have to worry about messes, cooking or even entertainment.
We’ve attended birthday parties at the one by us, and it’s a lot of fun (The kids talked about it for MONTHS).
There is pizza and lots of “grown up” menu choices for the adults and there are plenty of drinks and snacks to go around!
Parties include admission and coins for all the kids, a special party host for your group and the peace of mind that you don’t have to clean up a thing at the end of the day!
The longer I’m a mom the more I realize that birthday parties can be stressful for parents, and how I’d much rather be having fun with my birthday kid… Parties out of the house can help so much, because you’ll be running and playing together instead of fetching drinks and cleaning up spills.
I love running around with my kids watching them play games (and maybe even joining in on some skee ball myself!).
If you have a birthday coming up, you can book a birthday at the Chuck E. Cheese’s closest to you! They are all across the country, so you should be able to find one near you pretty easily!
I think this is such a fun way to give kids a unique and special day just for them, regardless of what time of the year their birthday happens to fall.
Do you have a favorite Chuck E. Cheese’s memory? How do you handle birthdays that are by holidays?

Great tips! Especially for children of school age that want to invite school friends. I find that parents are more likely to let their child attend if it is in a public place especially durning the holidays.

Invite your close friends and plan on having fun. It is also important to think about good snacks if you love tacos – the best option would be to order taco street food. Catering is not just about food. This is the art of creating an atmosphere that envelops the participants of the event.
