I’ve never been a big fan of breakfast. I like the occasional big breakfast for a special occasion, but I usually just grab a piece of fruit or skip it all together (bad, I know). Thankfully, this smoothie’s turning my mornings around.
Mornings are usually hectic around my house, which is why I love this smoothie. It has only four ingredients so it’s really easy to throw together, and, most importantly, it tastes great.
What you’ll need:
- 1 fresh mango
- 1 ripe banana
- 1.5 cups frozen strawberries
- approximately 1/2 cup coconut milk
- blender
- 1 cup baby spinach (washed)
Just throw it all in the blender, and you’re done. A yellow banana (maybe even with a few bruises) works wonderfully with the coconut milk to sweeten the smoothie so extra sugar isn’t needed.
Amounts will, of course, vary based on how thick or thin you like your smoothies. You can also substitute your favorite fruits and play with different ingredients, but this is my favorite right combination right now. Easy and delicious. I’d love to know, what are your favorite smoothie combinations?

Coconut milk? Mmm… we haven’t tried that yet. I bet with all that other yummy stuff the kids wouldn’t even notice the change! ;)

It adds the perfect amount of sweetness without overpowering the fruit flavor. My kids love it (almost too much because they’re always asking me to make it!).

You hd me at mango! They are just starting to come into season here in Florida so this will be a great addition to my breakfast smoothie list. I would add a little protein powder to get the day off to the right start. Thanks for sharing this deliciousness on Create It Thursday.
