Ok mamas, weigh in: Did you keep your baby’s umbilical cord clamp? Is it weird that I have both of my babies’ clamps? I promise I’m not a horder, in fact, I’m usually the one throwing away/donating/selling everything we don’t use, but this I couldn’t part with. Just seemed too sweetly sentimental to get rid of. A memory of when my babies and I were physically connected.
Please tell me some one else keeps these too?
Little man’s cord clamp
I never even SAW them clamp his cord and they definitely didn’t give it to me as a souvenir or anything! But I did save his booties, receiving blanket, hospital bracelet, and booties from the hospital.
awww i’m sorry. I didn’t see them do it either, but somehow ended up with both clamps. You still got fun souvenirs though! I love our hospital bracelets :P

I’ll take it a step further- I still have the actual umbilical stump. :x So gross, but I can’t bear to throw it away. I’ve heard other moms do this too though, so I feel a little less weird. ;)
