I recently figured out how to make those e-cards I’m always seeing, and had way too much fun putting this post together. I hope you have as much fun reading it as I had making it!
Maybe not overrated, but definitely not a common occurrence around here!
Gross, but I’m definitely guilty of this from time to time! Especially the first few weeks postpartum!
This is a true story. Happened to me.
Everyday.
I’ve always loved date night. But I love it extra these days!!! If you don’t have time for a date night OUT of the house check out this list of at home date night ideas (that don’t involve the tv!)
Fox in Socks had me stumped for awhile, but I’m pretty much there now.
So what’s your best “you know you’re a mom when”…? Leave me a comment and let me know, your ideas just might make it into part 2!

Haha these are awesome! Give me a few weeks and I can probably add some if you do a third or fourth version! Have an awesome weekend!

My favorite is the spit-up one! I’ve done that many times, even when I have to leave the house. If I had to change clothes for every spit-up, I’d run out of clothes!

So cute! I haven’t figured out how to make the e-cards, but I wrote a similar list for Mother’s Day: http://www.thereisgrace.com/you-know-youre-a-mom-when/

Yes…all so true…and better when looked at through humor.
And in the end, all so worth it.

You mean we are supposed to SHOWER sometimes?! :) j/k These are great!
I saw a thing, too (on Pinterest, I think) about what you get done running errands with the kids vs. without the kids. It makes me laugh every time I even think about it, because it’s so true!

You start saying potty not toilet. ;)

Love this!!!
Yes, potty not toilet…I’ve even told my husband I have to “go potty!”
AND i gave him a sippy cup at dinner once!
One more- you know you’re a mom when: Brushing your hair is “dressing up”
(or putting on shoes!)
Emily Cook (@Weakandloved) says
when you think even the grumpy-face is kind of cute….

This is my life right now!! My life is radically changed and I can so relate, especially to being spit up on and not changing my shrit (until bed or next morning) and to sleeping through the night
I think I slept through the night if I sleep for a 5 hour stretch, LOL!!
I know I’m a mom when I rush to swap laundry before the babies wake!! (Yes, babies)
I know I’m a mom when I type one-handed on the keyboard holding the baby in
Kendra @A Proverbs 31 Wife says
One hand typing right now! :)
And the spit up thing… sour milk smell has become my signature scent. Maybe that’s why my few remaining friends are online only? jk, I have great friends :)

You know you’re a mom when you start thinking about bedtime as soon as dinner’s over.
