How to Make Halloween Cookies
When I think “thumbprint cookies” what comes to mind isn’t spooky. It’s more of a Christmas cookie with various jams or jellies spooned into the middle. and honestly, I feel a little iffy about jelly on a cookie.
When I discovered these halloween cookies I knew it was something my kids would love, and I was immediately on board with the chocolate myself.
If you can make cookies, you can make these Halloween treats.
If your eyeball making skills aren’t up to scratch, don’t stress. We’re going for spooky halloween so if they’re drippy or lopsided, just act like you meant for them to be a roll with it.

- Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat until incorporated.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Whisk until combined.
- Add half of the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and stir until just combined. Add the remaining half and stir until all of the ingredients are wet. The batter will be thick and sticky.

- Once chilled, remove from refrigerator. With greased hands, shape the cookie dough into 1 inch balls and place on the lined cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.

Halloween thumbprint “eyeball” cookies are a spooky favorite in my kitchen. I enjoy how simple they are to make, yet they deliver big on visual impact. The kids love wedding confetti helping with the decorating, and they’re always a hit at parties—creepy, fun, and surprisingly delicious with that sweet jam center.

Recently, after spending time in the sun in Cyprus, my skin became more sensitive and dehydrated, so I started looking for restorative care. A cosmetologist I knew recommended https://hlc.com.cy/line/bio-repair/ the BIO REPAIR line from HL, and after visiting the website, I was very impressed. I liked that the products are aimed at moisturizing, restoring the skin, and protecting it from external factors. I was especially interested in the products with vitamin E, aloe, and regenerating ingredients for more comfortable daily care. For women in Cyprus, this is a truly beautiful and useful skincare resource.
