This post contains affiliate links: We may not get frightful amounts of snow in my part of Texas (or any snow for that matter…) but we do get some yucky cold rains. I’m not a fan of cold weather AT ALL so I always hate leaving the house when it’s rainy and cold during our Texas winters. It’s particularly miserable because I can’t manage to hold an umbrella while holding the baby in one arm and my toddler’s hand. I just don’t have enough hands, nor is it practical to hold an umbrella while buckling kids in and out of car seats. I always end up getting soaked whenever it rains here.
And then this happened:

I didn’t realize this until I put it on, but the fabulous thing about it being a cape (As opposed to a typical rain coat) is that your purse goes under the cape, meaning it stays dry too! Me and my things can all stay dry while sprinting to the car in the rain. How fabulous is that?
My friend and I had some fun doing a photo shoot in the rain while I tried out my new cape! I was impressed by how lightweight the Capers are.
