We all have those days, right? Please some one tell me I’m right. You just look around and think to yourself, “sometimes I’m bad at being a mom”. Those stereotypical “mom” things don’t always come naturally. My house is never spotless and I lose my patience way more than I want to. Because I never want to.
I have found one thing to be true though… even on the worst of days, we are all still good at one thing.
We’re good at playing. In fact, when I’m having a rough day or find myself being impatient with my kids, it’s usually because I’ve gotten too busy, too caught up in things around me. When we stop, PUSH PLAY and do something silly for a little while, it turns the entire day around!

I’m realizing that every mom has bad days. We all have our little shortcomings and failures and there are always way that we can improve.
But one thing we could never be bad at? Playing.
Thankfully, that’s what our kids need most. They need us connecting with them in a way that makes sense to them… which more often than not is with a juice in hand laying on the floor doing puzzles, or spinning in circles listening to silly music. Or running races in the backyard. The sillier the better, and none of those things require special skills or abilities. They just require stopping in the midst of crazy schedules to play and connect with the kiddos.
I love that the CAPRI SUN™ Organic line is encouraging us to play with the kids more. It’s so easy to get caught up in todo lists, that we forget the more important things… like playtime!
It contains no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. CAPRI SUN™ Organic is Certified USDA Organic and is sweetend only with fruit juice. It’s the kind of no-nonsense reminder that we need. Because you’re not bad at being a mom for having a bad day… but you could always use an extra minute of play while drinkinga CAPRI SUN™. Always!
Sam’s Club now carries the organic line of CAPRI SUN™ in a value pack of 46 ounce organic juice pouches. It’s such a great way to get more organic fruits into your kiddos, another choice you can be proud of mama!
What do you do when you feel like you are having a bad day as a mom? Do you have a go-to game that you can play with your kids to remember what it’s all about? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
