I am so excited to share with about a free ebook today!
Confessions of an Imperfect Mother has been an ongoing series on this blog since March of 2012. I love adding posts to this series and always enjoy the conversations with other imperfect mamas in the comments section.
Confessions has always been a favorite on the blog, both for me as the author and for my readers! I decided to pull a few of the most popular confessions together into this book so that you can read them at your leisure and see all your favorites in one place!
Every now and then I do get a comment on a post telling me that it’s wrong to talk about struggles and imperfections. That it’s promoting laziness or encouraging moms to stop trying. I seek to encourage other moms through this series while also being real about where I’m at in motherhood myself. I thought it might be good to open up with why I write about imperfection and share my own struggles openly. That way you can see the heart behind the series and hopefully understand that I’m not saying we should stop trying to improve. I’m am all for growth just against the guilt that so often comes when we’re not quite where we want to be just yet!
I hope you enjoy this series and this book!
If nothing else I hope it serves as a reminder that you are doing great as a mom!
The confessions of and imperfect mother ebook is now free for subscribers to the blog! You can subscribe here.
I send messages only periodically when I have something very special and exciting to share! You will NOT be spammed and your email addresses will never be shared with others.
Have you already gotten your copy of the book? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!
Pamela says
My hands on mothering is over, but what a blessing it would have been during those years to have had someone admit to being a bit imperfect. Those days when all I felt like I was saying was no, no, no. The days when I was impatient. Even the bone-crushing tiredness days. Bless you for sharing it on your blog–and now through your e-book. Prayed God would bless it beyond your expectations. ~Pamela
