The last few weeks have been truly exhausting. On days like this I find myself dreaming of a wonderful vacation. I love planning out trips in my head and imagining what it would be like to go various places with our little family. Even better when I can find gorgeous photos online and plan a whole trip!
I recently came across information on Gulf County, Florida, and it seems like the perfect vacation spot for families. There are two time zones in the county and only two stoplights! This sounds like such a unique and quirky place to be. I love vacationing to quiet areas, especially since we live in such a big city. It’s neat to go on trips and truly be able to unplug and spend time focusing on family!
Gulf County looks like such a fun place for families to unwind and relax together, while also exploring the beauty of creation and participating in all the natural fun that gulf county has to offer! As soon as I saw the kayaking opportunities they have in St. Joseph Bay, I knew my husband would be so excited! He loves to kayak, but typically just gets to do it on our not-so-pretty local lake here. Just look at that gorgeous bay to kayak in!!!
I also wanted to take a quick minute to tell you about the #GCFLnofilter contest running now through April 17, 2014. To enter, you simply have to post an action-selfie to Instagram, of you doing something you love, that you’d also be able to enjoy in Gulf County. Things like running (wouldn’t it be better to run on the beach?) or kayaking like my husband does! The sky is the limit, so get creative!
I’m entering a photo of us on a walk, since we love taking walks together as a family. (See my entry here) When you post your photo to instagram be sure to use the hashtag #GCFLnofilter and tag @gulfcountyfl to gell them what you are doing in your shot! You will then be entered to win a free spring getaway to Come visit GCFL!
Also, be sure to Like GCFL on Facebook and salute real beauty!
What would your favorite thing to do at GCFL be? Kayaking? Walking on the beach? A sunset boat trip? There is so much to do, you really can’t choose wrong!
