Materials

• Super Bulky Fun Fur Yarn ( 2 50g balls)
• Size 10 mm knitting needles
• Darning needle
• Scissors

• Cast on
  Knit
  Knit two together
  Bind Off

Knit two together = Insert the tip of your right hand needle into the next two stitches on the left hand needle at the same time, and knit them together (K2tog)

Luxurious Fun Fur Hat Knitting Pattern

Directions

Directions are given for child’s size with adult’s size given in parentheses.

CO 28 stitches (32 stitches adult)

Row 1 – 22: Knit across

Row 23: K2tog across

Row 24: K2tog across

Cut yarn leaving about 18” ( we’ll call this the working yarn) and attach darning needle to the end

Thread the darning needle with yarn back through the remaining stitches on the knitting needle, slipping the stitches off of the knitting needle, and onto the darning needle and the working yarn.  

When all of the stitches are off the knitting needle, pull that working yarn tight, gathering the stitches into the very top of the hat.  Use that same working yarn to then sew the seam closed. Weave in the ends.
