Good morning –
We don’t hear it every day, do we? It’s usually not the first thing we hear, at least, right? I’d be willing to bet that the first thing you heard this morning was a cry, a request, or a demand.
As mothers, we’re meeting needs from sun-up to sun-down. I’m pretty sure “Mom” translates directly into “need-meeter” in some way.
So on behalf of all those whose needs you’re meeting today, good morning, Mama! Did you sleep well? You look great! I’m thankful for you, and I look forward to spending this day with you.

The above is a beautiful piece of writing by my friend Kate Skero. She blogs herself over at Nourishing Little Souls and she is a wonderful writer, mom and friend! You might remember her guest post about fun toddler chores a few months back. Today, I’m happy to announce that Kate recently joined the Beauty Through Imperfection team. One of the biggest things she’s doing is handling the weekly newsletter. That means, every week you’ll get little pieces of encouragement. Like an actual “good morning” from some one who cares, and some words that just might give you the energy you need as you start another week! If you aren’t already subscribed, you can do so right here:
>Basically, the only thing you won’t be getting is spam. We only email you once a week (unless something CRAZY, exciting happens and we absolutely can’t wait…) and we’ll never give you email address away or sell it (because that would be ridiculous amounts of lame, and probably against laws and such).
I just wanted to take the time to introduce you to Kate, so we can all welcome her to the Beauty Through Imperfection team together AND show you what you are missing if you aren’t subscribed!
Good morning mama, (or good afternoon/goodnight) you are doing a GREAT job.
