It’s college game season, which means people everywhere are getting ready for tailgating and in-home parties! One of my favorite parts is all the great food that surrounds football. From the snacks to the grill I just love all of it! Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite game day recipes with you for Burger Sliders made with Hidden Valley ® ranch dressing!
If you are feeding a crowd, you’ll need:
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 1 packet Hidden Valley® Ranch dressing mix
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 36 wheat dinner rolls
Start with your meat and half a packet of Hidden Valley® Ranch mix and the soy sauce in a large mixing bowl. Use your hands to mix together the ingredients until the powder and sauce have been absorbed into the meat. Then, form the meat into 1.5 inch patties.
Fire up the grill and cook your burgers over your Kingsford® charcoal. I love Kingsford® because it comes in so many flavors itself. You can give your burgers a mesquite flavor or hickory and more!
We set up a slider bar, allowing every one to choose what they wanted on their own burgers. Cheese, avocado slices, mayonaise, ketchup, onions, tomatoes and more!
Be sure to have lots of Sparkle paper towels on hand to clean up messes! Burgers can get messy and I love that Sparkle gets our spaces clean again so fast!
If you stop by Dollar General this week through Oct. 17, 2015 you can get $0.50 off (1) Sparkle® paper towel roll 6 pack!
Of course we have lots of Dr Pepper® to go with our tailgate meal as well! In fact, after we were done eating, we even used our Dr Pepper® and poured it over ice cream for Dr Pepper® floats! It was the perfect end to a tailgating party!
The best part is, you can get these, and all your game day needs at Dollar General! They often have great coupons to help you save even more and I love the one-stop-shop aspect of Dollar General too!
