Spring Fashions for Kiddos!

Cliche but true, kids grow out of clothing so quickly! It seems like every time I turn around my kids need clothes in a new size or for a new season. In the past I’ve shared some tips about how to save money on baby/kids clothes, but I had never thought to shop at Dollar General for clothing until I got accepted to do this post on spring fashions for kiddos!

Yesterday the kids and I loaded up in the car and headed out to buy them some new clothes for spring! I know some of you are still experiencing crazy amounts of snow, but down in Texas, where we live we’re having some days in the 70s and others in the 30s, which means we have to buy new clothes for warmer weather, while also keeping out all our warm stuff too. The joys of Spring in Texas.

I was really impressed with what I was able to get for the kids at Dollar General! They gave me a budget of $50 to shop for the kids and we got a LOT for that price. Princess needed a lot of spring clothes, since she’s grown out of everything she wore last Summer, so she got the most. Here are our finds:

I got 4 outfits for Princess and one for Little Man for $50! Each outfit had multiple pieces so it ended up being 11 pieces of clothing plus two coordinating hair bows for Princess.

My favorite has to be the pink dress and capris. The color is so vibrant and the dress is really flowy. It looks super comfy! Princess kept playing with the skirt, when I had her try it on. So fun!

Little Man was beside himself when he saw his outfit. He’s got quite the obsession with Basketball shorts right now, so he was beyond thrilled to get another pair. The two matching super hero shirts to go with his new shorts completely made his day.

This was my first time shopping for kids clothes at Dollar general but I was pleasantly surprised at the items we were able to find. We had to dig around to find the styles and sizes that we were looking for, but I feel like we found a great selection of Spring fashions for my little ones!
