With Thanksgiving being today and all, I started to prepare my traditional “thankful” post, in which I annually type out a list of all the things I’m thankful for, and share it on my blog. While I love this exercise, I decided to do something different on my blog this year. You all probably don’t need or want to read another post about how thankful I am for my family, friends, health etc. (although I am thankful for all those things) Instead, I want to let you know that I am thankful for you.
My lovely blog readers, I am so grateful that you give me your time and stop to read the words that I write. I’m blessed by each comment, like, share, tweet, pin and even by the silent observers who, while I may not know you by name, I appreciate nonetheless. I thank you. Thanks for sticking around even when the blog is quiet or the posts not enthralling. Thank you for believing in me and going on this journey of writing, and of life, with me.
Because of you I’m so much closer to achieving my dream of being an author. With your help, we’re reaching the goal of owning our own home much sooner than we anticipated. My life has been changed by you wonderful readers. Most of you I’ll never meet, but I am so very thankful to have known you, even so slightly as through a comment, a tweet or a like.
You make my heart smile, just by being here, and I appreciate you deeply.
Happy Thanksgiving my dear readers, I’m looking forward to all the things we will discuss together, and all the ways we can encourage each other in the days, weeks, months and years to come.
Paula
