This is a sponsored post for Russell Brunson and his book Traffic Secrets: the Underground Playbook for filling your websites and funnels with your dream customers.
A few other bloggers are going through Russell’s 30-day traffic challenge together, and yes, we’re sharing our findings on social media as we do.
Most of my thoughts are being shared on my Twitter account, if you want to follow along.
I’ve been in the blogging/content creating industry for over a decade now, so some of these aren’t brand new concepts to me, but what I appreciate about this book is that it clearly organizes essential concepts into a step by step process.
Whether you are just planning to launch your blog or business, OR you’re launching a new product, the Traffic Secrets book can help you make sure you don’t miss anything along the way!
And although I haven’t finished the challenge yet myself, if the first couple week are any indication you should definitely see an increase in traffic after the full 30 day challenge!
How to Grow
One of the biggest challenges facing entrepreneurs is being found by potential customers. Oftentimes, we spend so much time on our concepts and product development – and then we assume that traffic and customers will just flock to us as soon as we’re done with development.
Sadly, that’s not how business works.
Usually you have to spend just as much time, if not more time building your dream customer base, strategizing how to reach them, and then placing them in a funnel so that they know and understand how you can help them.
If that sounds overwhelming, well, that’s because it is! This side of the business is not often talked about because it requires so much thought, effort and nurturing of your customers, it can feel easier to just pretend that side doesn’t exist.
What happens if you don’t
If you are ignoring this part of business building, you are on the track to burnout. I can say this for sure, because early on in my career, I completely ignored the concepts in Russell’s book. I thought a good, quality product was enough.
And my sales were low.
And I was completely disheartened that something I was proud of, something I had spent months pouring my heart into – was barely acknowledged by my dream customers.
Trust me, it does not feel good to backtrack and re-start from square one doing it the “right way” with a customer-first mindset.
Which is why I appreciate that there are books like Traffic Secrets out now, so you don’t have to make the same mistakes I did early on in this journey. Following Russell’s plan can help you identify and serve your dream customers with your products, services and website in an amazing way!
