Happy Valentine’s Day!!! and happy 3rd Blogiversary!
V-day is also the anniversary of when I started this blog. I’ve been blogging since I was 15 on various sites, but I started this one shortly after my son was born, and the first post went up on Valentine’s day!
I cringe a little when I go back and read those posts from so long ago. My grammar wasn’t great and my editing skills left a lot to be desired. I still completely abuse the comma, but aside from that my writing style has grown with the blog.
A lot has changed in each are of my life since the day I decided to start this blog 3 years ago. One thing has remained the same though, I absolutely LOVE writing here. My love for typing these words has only grown, especially as I see so many of you connecting with what I say. Your comments mean so much to me, and it truly makes my day when I find out that one of my posts has been an encouragement to some one.
I’m so thankful for each of you choosing to go on this blogging-journey with me. I love connecting with all of you and learning and growing together!
Also, this week in celebration of Valentine’s day and the 3 year blogiversary I’ve discounted my book, When Baby Becomes Big Sibling! This week only, so if you have been toying with the idea of snagging a copy, now is the time!
Also, I’ve been considering creating a print-book option for it. I know lots of us don’t have kindles or ipads that allow us to read on the go, so I thought it might be convenient to have a small paperback version of the book, so you could read it while nursing or toss it in your diaper bag to read while waiting in a Dr’s office or something. What are your thoughts on that? Do you prefer physical books or ebooks? Is the fact that it’s only offered in kindle form keeping you from getting a copy? Do share! It will take some work to get it formatted to be a physical book, but I’m totally willing to do that if it will make it a better experience for you and/or more useful for mamas!
Here’s to a fantastic 3 years. . . and many more years to come!
