I had been thinking about getting some preschool activities to do with Little Man for several weeks, so when I heard about the opportunity to review the EmbarK¹² program it was perfect timing! In short, the program is: EmbarK12 Comprehensive- Online and hands-on preschool program for your early learner.
Little Man turned 3 in November and he’s been fascinated with letter sounds lately. The boy loves books and desperately wants to learn how to read! There are so many different reading activites that came in the box, along with numbers, drawing activities and more!
We got a HUGE box in the mail filled with preschool goodies. My son went nuts!!! He was so excited about everything, he started calling it Christmas. Not even kidding. It was adorable!
There’s an online aspect to the curriculum as well as the box full of hands on activities. He felt like such a big kid getting to use the computer as I helped him through the activities.
I loved how everything was organized for me, and I could just follow the instructions. He’s loved the books and I appreciated the variety they offered. So many educational children’s books that I didn’t know were out there! He loves reading them with me and even looking through them by himself.
The sorting bears were a big hit. There are different colors, sizes and weights, so there are many different ways to sort them! He’s still working on the concept of “weight” so this was a really neat excercise for him.
Here’s a video that shares a little bit more about the program.

I’m not planning to homeschool either of my kids, but Little Man has been so fascinated with learning lately, I thought it was the right time to start some preschool work at home.
Have you done any preschool at home with your children? What are they most excited to learn?

We haven’t done any formal educational activities yet, but I do intend to homeschool and this looks like a great resource!
