We had so much fun creating this Cranberry Christmas Mocktail Recipe! So yummy and fun to drink!
With just a few ingredients you can make this fun holiday drink for your kids (adults love it too)
You’ll need:
- 7-Up
- Cranberry gelatin
- Ice cube tray
- Green sugar sprinkles
First you wil need to prepare the gelatin according to the package directions. Instead of putting it into a pan or bowl to harden in the fridge, pour it into an ice cube tray and place in the fridge. You’ll want to do this step at least a couple of hours before you want to serve the drinks, as the gelatin will need a few hours to jell.
When the gelatin is nice and wobbly, get out some cute glasses. I used our stemless wineglasses. when you have your glasses on hand, dump a large amount of the green sprinkles into a flat-bottomed plastic bowl. Use a wet paper towel to moisten the rim of the glass. Once a glass is wet, turn it up side down in the bowl of sprinkles and spin it around a bit. When you lift it up there should be sprinkles stuck all around the rim.
Next, pour the 7-up into the glass (being careful not to touch the rim and knock the sprinkles off). Pull the jelled “ice” out of the fridge and place a few cubes into the cup.
This will make the drink get even more bubbly and fizzy!
The sprinkles add some sweet texture as you drink and the gellatin is fun to drink at the end of your cup too!
This would be super fun at any Christmas party or at a Grinch themed party, since there’s plenty of green! You could even do lime gellatin to remove any touch of red if you are “going Grinch” this year! This would go great with our Chocolate peppermint cookie recipe too!
