Happy Father’s day to all the dads out there! (though I doubt any are reading this blog!)
Last year was my hubby’s first Father’s day and it is so amazing to me how much he has changed and grown as a father since then. He is truly an incredible dad, and I am so blessed that he and I get to be parents together <3 I can't imagine a better daddy for my kiddos! :) Father’s day is always somewhat bittersweet for me, ever since my dad passed away in ’04, but as my family grows it is becoming more sweet than bitter :) I love and miss my dad, but God has blessed me so richly with peace and joy that Father’s day is no longer a day of tears for me. I can just smile at the good memories I have. This is something I wrote last fall as somewhat of a tribute to my dad. I don’t have many things to remind me of him, but what I do have is priceless.
A father’s day post would not be complete without me mentioning my wonderful Father in law. He is truly an awesome guy to know. I admire him so much for his wisdom, the love he shows to his family, and his generosity (just to name a few of his admirable traits!). I know that my hubby wouldn’t be the awesome man that he is without the influence of his dad, and I am forever grateful to him for being the man he is, and raising my hubby to be a great man too! I admire him more than I can say, and I’m proud to have named our little boy after him (He, my hubby and our son share the same middle name). My little man can learn so much from his grandfather, and I’m so thankful for the active role he has taken in my little guy’s life. Little man ADORES his “chuchu” (as he calls him) and asks about him all the time.
I am so blessed by the fathers in my life. My dad, my hubby and his dad.

Happy father’s day to all!!!
praying for those precious ones for whom father’s day is more bitter than sweet. I’ve been there, and all I can say is to continue trusting in God, and looking to Him as your father. He will see you through this hard day <3
