All too often I find my home starts to feel dark and cluttered. It amazes me how quickly this can happen, but what I love is that there are simple ways to bring brightness and make everything look and feel a lot more clean. One simple trick is to go around your house and reline your shelves! I think shelf lining notoriously gets a bad rap for being hard to install, but that’s not the case anymore with Easy Liner® with Clorox®.

I’ll admit that usually what happens when I try to declutter is that I end up overwhelming myself and getting nothing done. I’ll walk into my daughter’s room to try to tackle the toy problem and even an hour later it will look as if I’ve accomplished nothing because I’m trying to tackle too big a project at once. Doing things this way allows it to be done in smaller “bite size” pieces. I feel like I’m accomplishing something each day, even if it’s just a single drawer or shelf. Small steps are being made and as I go along, I only have one extra thing to maintain too. The junk drawer is clean, I need to keep it clean, instead of the entire kitchen or my daughter’s whole room full of toys! One drawer at a time, lined, clean and pretty! Soon the whole house will be clutter free because I’m taking realistic steps now! 
I love that it becomes so simple to wipe things down too. Our snack cabinet always seems to attract crumbs of whatever my kids have been grabbing from inside it, and it’s always been so hard to clean! With these liners, it makes the job quick and easy because they wipe so easily with a wet cloth or sponge. I find the same thing is true in the fridge. Cover the shelves with this paper! Not where your raw food goes, but everywhere else! I don’t know why fridges always have clear shelves, but it always makes things look so dirty and it’s harder to see what you have. Covered with paper, everything is cleaner and brighter!
My goal for the Summer is to get EVERYTHING looking shiny and pretty around our house. That’s starting with our drawers and shelves.
