Super easy veggie recipe
1 tbsp Morton Kosher Salt
1 tbsp Freshly Ground Pepper
½ lb Bacon
1.5-2 lbs Green Beans (trimmed)
8 Cups Water
In a large saucepan, bring water to a rolling boil and add salt, pepper and bacon.
Allow water to boil with seasoning and bacon for 5 minutes before adding green beans.
Add trimmed green beans to pot.
Allow to boil for 10 minutes or until the green beans are at the desired level of softness.
Strain green beans and serve.
Tip: Let the water boil with seasoning first so that the green beans are soaking up flavored water. Makes for very flavorful veggies
