Oh look, it’s almost Christmas. Halloween is in a few weeks, then we have Thanksgiving and before we know it christmas will be on our doorsteps. Say what you will about it being wonderful, but for most (moms, especially) it’s the most chaotic time of the year.
Kids are in and out of school with so many breaks at exactly all the wrong times. We’re hosting parties, buying gifts, fighting crowds, making travel plans. I know I’m not the only one exhausted just thinking about it!
Among all of the crazy things we have to get done, we’re also stressing about making it memorable and perfect for our kids. Every minute has to be magical and perfect and we barely have a moment to breathe because of all of the magic we are trying to conjure up. We end up snapping at the kids more than laughing with them because we are so stressed out trying to make everything perfect.
Am I right? Or is that just my house?
Last year I’d had enough. My friend Becky had too. So we toned things down. We still did all the magic but we found ways of doing it all without stress. We found what was important and we made a simple Christmas the BEST it had ever been.
This year we made Becky to help other moms and dads get back to a slower paced, more fun Christmas season. It includes printables, ideas for low-key parties, easy decorations and crafts you can do with your kids. (Trust me, if I made these happen any one can). We have fun printable family discussion questions and SO MUCH MORE.
Have a Merry stress-free early Christmas!
