How about this for a “confession”..
Today I looked over and saw my son attempting to drink milk from a sippy cup. The problem was, I hadn’t given him any cups of milk so far today. or yesterday. Yes, my son was attempting to drink 2 day old milk from his cup. Fortunately the milk was so curdled he was unsuccessful. There are just so many things wrong with this picture I won’t even bother pointing them all out. Not my proudest moment ;)
“perfect mommy award” passes me by yet again!

Basically, I’m just an imperfect mama sharing a lot of my imperfect moments both big and small in the hopes that you are encouraged! Not one of us is perfect, though it’s easy as mama’s to try to be perceived that way! Mommy guilt is a tough thing to bear, and this is one way I remind myself that I don’t have to be a perfect mama, just a loving one.
I hope you are encouraged today! (even if it is at my expense hehe!)

awwww so glad this encouraged you! :)
It’s funny, I think we all have those days/moments, but then we all assume we’re the only ones having them!!!
thanks for following! great connecting with you!

Seriously been there. I just posted about how I sent my kid back to bed in the middle of the night not knowing that she had a bloody nose from falling out of bed. I think I can definitely win the horrible mommy award for that one.

awwww I’ve done similar things with my boy too <3
we can get our horrible mommy awards together ;) hehehe thanks for sharing your “imperfect mama” moment with me!

Oh yes I have found my son drinking 2-3 day old apple juice before. SOOO gross. But I think this happens at least once a week! lol.

lol nice! He’s learning to throw his own cups/plates etc. in the sink so that’s helping this to become more and more rare, though it still happens on occasion ;)
Aprille says
He does that a lot of times too…
