When was the last time you went on an adventure? We have a fun trivia adventure for you to try for your next date. While evening dates are fun, I prefer spending a whole day on an adventure! This would also work as a fun activity with friends!
Get ready for an action packed day, by stocking up on Clif Bars and printing out this fun printable with your adventure trivia game on it! Be careful when you print… the answer key is on the last page!
When you print it out, you’ll see there are some blanks for you to fill in. Since every city is different, I wanted to leave it open ended enough that you can explore YOUR city and have a local adventure together in that way.
Step one is filling in all the blanks. You can do this activity with your partner, or fill in options yourself and save the trivia part to do as a team!
You’ll be asked for two local tours that you’re interested in taking… these can be free tours. You’d probably be surprised at how many things you have hiding around your city that you’ve never seen. I’ve lived in Houston for more than 20 years and yet I still am surprised by the awesome things I find in our city. A few months ago we toured a 15 million gallon underground water cistern that used to service the entire city with water. It was amazing! Then we found tunnels underground with shops and restaurants, and we’re planning a bike ride along the bayou soon! There is SO much to do around town, and more to be discovered every day.
I know it’s not just my city though. Hop on google and find some awesome sights around town that you’ve never seen before and choose two to put on your adventure sheet!
Next, you need to choose two activities you enjoy. This could be a bike ride, a hike up a mountain (I wish we had mountains to climb in South Texas!), kayaking, or anything else that gets your blood moving and challenges you together.
Jot down two options and then move along to the next fill in the blank area, physical challenges! This can be something silly like, see who can spin in circles for the longest without falling over, to something more intense like a 2 mile race at a local track. Pick two ways you can challenge each other that will be decided by trivia question later on!
Next, you’ll be tasked with choosing two movies that are in theaters right now that you’d like to see. This is how you’ll end your day of action, because after all of this, you’ll be TIRED and ready to sit still and watch some one else have an adventure!
You’ll see the last question has to do with choosing flavors of Nut Butter Filled Bars from Clif to eat during your busy day. These Clif energy bars are nutrient dense so I love munching them for energy, especially on a day of adventure around town.
Your flavor choices for these energy bars filled with creamy nut butter are:
- Peanut Butter
- Coconut Almond Butter
- Chocolate Hazlenut Butter
- Chocolate Peanut Butter
We’ve been munching on the Chocolate Peanut Butter and Coconut Almond Butter varieties over here…They. Are. Awesome.
You’ll need these as energy for the day and they deliver! They are tasty, filling and USDA Organic and non-GMO.
Let’s be real though, a lot of people, (myself included) get confused by all the labels on food today. Organic, Non-GMO…. what does all of this mean? I love this infographic from the award winning dietitian and “America’s Green Nutritionist, Kate Geagan, it helps clear up a lot of the confusion!
It’s super handy to know what the different labels mean, and why so you can make an informed decision about what you are buying! Want to learn more about Non GMO? There’s tons of information at that link, all presented in a way that’s easy to understand!
I hope you have fun exploring your town, going on an adventure with your partner, and experiencing the new energy bars from Clif! Comment and let me know the coolest things to do in your city AND let me know which flavor of the Nut Butter Filled Bars are your favorite!
