A mom’s life made easier – when it’s time for the Dr visit

Thank you Medici for sponsoring this post. Medici connects doctors and patients in an easy to use app!

“I don’t even have TIME to be sick!”

I think every mom has said that at least once in her life.
And it’s true, isn’t it? Whether you are a working mom, a stay at home mom or something in between, there’s zero extra hours in which a mom can just casually be sick or recover from sickness.

And don’t even get me started on going to the doctor with kids in tow. It’s a NIGHTMARE.

But I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that. Every mom I know has at least one story of crazy shenanigans that happened at the Dr’s office when mom just needed a check-up but there were no babysitters and no time to book an appointment at a more convenient hour.

I’m not complaining. Being a mom is wonderful, and I miss my kids when they go to sleep. It’s not that I want more kid-free time, it’s just that there’s a certain level of chaos that comes with having kids and that is just not conducive to easy doctor visits or convenient colds for moms.

I mean, who hasn’t been asked to play 10,000 games with your adorable kiddos while you’re trying to recover from the flu?

Or which of us hasn’t tried to keep kiddos from getting sick while we’re sick, only for them to insist on snuggles to “help us feel better”. So cute. So stressful.

All this crazy chaos is why I was so thrilled to find out about Medici!

It’s an incredible app that allows moms to “go to the Dr” from home. An absolute lifesaver for busy parents.

Using this Telehealth app, you can text your dr, your pediatrician, and even your vet through a secure, private app on your phone.

It’s so convenient to use, and you can also easily scroll through and find specialists in your area. I found this screen with a few clicks after logging into my app. So easy!

While I may not have been sick this week, I love having this app on my phone for the convenience of that quick contact with my family’s healthcare team.

From random rashes that pop up on the kids (that totally happened last month) to dealing with whatever nasty bug I catch from the kids next, this app is going to be such a help to our whole family.

If you are a family dealing with a lot of prescriptions, Medici has you covered there too. You can get ePrescriptions, Lab Results and eReferrals to specialists all within the app — making life that much easier. No more running around from place to place! Everything is at your fingertips.

If text isn’t really your thing, you can do voice or video calls through the platform as well. Trust me, those video calls will be VERY convenient when you need help identifying random rashes and bumps that kids always seem to have.

Best of all, the platform is totally secure, meaning you don’t have to sacrifice your family’s privacy for the convenience of easy-access to doctors and care teams.

Medici even works with families who don’t have insurance so you have that extra level of care and convenience, no matter how your health payment system works for you.

I recently found out about this epic service and I couldn’t wait to share! Every mom I know needs this! When I downloaded it in the app store (it’s in Google play as well) I had it up and running with all our information in a matter of minutes! So easy! And definitely something you’ll want to have on hand for whenever you need it! Receiving healthcare shouldn’t be frustrating. Download Medici today!
