I can honestly say I never envisioned myself saying many of the things that come out of my mouth these days. It is truly amazing the phrases that become some what “normal” when you have a toddler on your hands. Here are a few of my favorite “I can’t believe I’m saying this” phrases thus far.
“buddy let’s not vacuum sister okay?”
“who parked the (toy) harley in the bathroom?”
“we don’t stir the water in the potty.”
“Stop biting the couch please”
“Don’t eat my broccoli!”
“Baby we can’t take your finger off just because it got an ouchie”
“it’s fun to go on the potty!”
I’m sure this will be a list that keeps growing along with my children. As I said on the FB page earlier this week “the crazy never stops around here”. I love it though :)
What about you? what are the craziest things you have had to say to your kid(s) so far on your parenting journey? Can’t wait to hear your stories

Thanks for the smile today! I can certainly relate. One fine morning I actually said “No sweetie, you can’t go out in just a shirt and socks, you need to wear undies and pants as well!” And then I thought “Wow, of all the things I never imagined having to say!” :)

oh my goodness! too funny! :) I think I’ve said something similar to my guy, though he’s not even 2 yet, so that’s not too bad at that age :P

Haha! My husband was actually listening to a comedian today who was talking about how being a parent is awesome, because you find yourself saying all kinds of hilarious things that you wouldn’t get to say otherwise. His example was, “Buddy, stop trying to balance your juice box between your chest and the edge of the table.” :)
