How to save more money… It’s something many of us are thinking about these days, and sometimes it’s hard to find ways to cut any more corners or stretch each dollar even the slightest bit more. It’s a challenge, but I think there is always something new to try! Always some new idea waiting to be discovered! Since Becky and I have been doing the Budgeting/Money Saving series this week, I thought it would be helpful to pull together all of our money saving tips in one place. These are from the past and present (and I’ll probably add more in the future!) Free Indoor Fun For Kids! – Summer, Winter, Rainy Days, whatever the occasion, these ideas will keep the kiddos in your life having fun, without breaking the bank!
DIY Coloring Books – These are great to make for your own kids, but they also make perfect birthday party gifts for other children! So cheap and easy to do, but it makes for a really meaningful and fun gift! My kids and their friends LOVE coloring pictures of themselves!
BABY:
Make your own baby food – Super easy, and it really doesn’t require fancy equipment. I made our baby food with a cheap-o blender from walmart and a regular steamer for the stove. So easy and super cheap!
Use Cloth Diapers – Really, it’s easier than you might think. I thought it would be a huge sacrifice (we had to do it to save the money)…and ended up loving it!!! Now that we could afford disposables, I still prefer cloth!

DATE NIGHT:
10 Fabulous At home date night ideas – Lots of times we end up just watching TV, but there’s no real growth or connection there…so we’ve started having weekly home date nights, but ensuring that the TV stays off for some of them! We still watch our shows (You won’t get me to ever stop watching Dr. Who!) but, we do other things for “date night” and save the TV watching for other times!
